[Valuation of estates held by the Duke of Buckingham] : [ca. 1438-1440]
28 p. ; 40 cm. x 29 cm.
Manuscript on paper, corrected, in an English court hand, containing a
detailed inventory of 114 estates and 6 "feudaries" pertaining to the Earl of
Buckingham, with estimates of the yearly income which could be derived from
each. This valor, probably compiled after the death of his mother, Anne of
Gloucester, in 1438, lists per annum income for properties located in 17
English counties and the city of London. Properties mentioned include
the 1438 Crown grant of lands in Northamptonshire, the manors of Weedon Beck
