marginal notes, of a version of Fox's four-part work defending Henry VIII's
assumption of the Royal Supremacy and repudiation of Papal authority.
Pages ruled for center text block.
Bound in: six pages of lists of names in a later 16th century hand,
incomplete.
First blank page title note, in a later hand, reads, "Pars libri de regia
et pon[ti]f[ical]i auctoritate."
Spine title reads, "De Regia, &c. Pont. Auct. MS. 22."
Bookplate: Thomas Philip, Earl de Grey (Wrest Park).
Binding: eighteenth century full panelled calf, stamped; spine title in
red morocco, gilt stamped.
