Bound too tightly to be collated
Cursive script. The heading of each entry is in alarge, ornate
script. Bound in quarter calf, ninteenth century.
On ff. iii-iv is pasted a sale catalogue of John Waller, Harley
House, no. 125, 1880, in which this is included. The sale receipt is
also included, dated 19 January 1880, to Captain J. C. Brook.
Comments: These entries, each beginning with the date and "Regina
concessit," are all recorded in one hand, beginning the the first year
of Queen Elizabeth's reign, December 1558 and continuing to July 1575.
Ff. vii-xx contain an alphabetical list of all the grantees in a mock
Elizabethan hand.
