Document 1: An indenture signed by the Earl of Arundel (Henry
Fitzalan), Lord Lumley, and his wife Jane Fitzalan Lumley, leasing
lands at Rogate, Sussex to Richard Bollsham of Rogate, yeoman, for
10,000 years. Seals of Lord Arundel, Lumley (armorial), and his wife
(partial) attached by vellum tags. Dated June 20, 1574. Signatures of
witnesses on verso. Parchment; 515 x 590 mm. Cursive script.
Document 2: An indenture signed by Lord Lumley: bargain and sail
of his mansion Ludworth and the surrounding property in the county of
Durham to Richard Bellassis of Jarrow. Lord Lumley's armorial seal
attached by vellum tag. Dated February 10, 1566. Signatures of
witnesses on the verso. Parchment; 520 x 655 mm. Cursive script.
Document 3: An indenture signed by Lord Lumley confirming the
bargain and sale of the chief mansion house of the manor of Wheldrake,
or Wheldricke, in Yorkshire to Thomas Knyvett, Esquire of her majesty's
Privy Chamber. Lord Lumley's armorial seal attached by vellum tag.
Dated May 24, 1598. Signatures of witnesses on verso. Parchment; 475 x
680 mm. Cursive script.
