Geoponica.  Venice (?), ca. 1490-1510.  Paper with watermark similar to Briquet
2538.  IV + 144 f. 297 x 206 (211 x 130) mm. 1 column, 30 lines, in hard point;
two bounding lines for inner margin and two or three for outer (impression on
verso of folio); no prickings visible.  

   I-XVI^^8, XVII^^8 (1 wanting), XVIII^^8.  Quire-marks often appear on the
recto in the lower right hand corner of the first leaf.

The scribe, associated with Georgius Moschos, also executed Bologna Univ. Libr.
cod. 3567 and parts of Bodl. Laud 12, Paris gr. 2567 and Vat. gr. 1406.  At
least three different hands (including that of the original scribe) have made
corrections in the margins; one hand has noted differences from the printed text
(as on f. 15v).

Decorative designs, in red, on f. 6v and 90r; headings and initials in red.

Bound in 17th century French calf with original front wrapper as flyleaf.

Thomas Phillipps (MS 6762, from Bohn).  Purchased from H.P. Kraus, December
1978.
