whom instructions were to be sent, probably at the time of the accession of
Philip II to the throne (fragment). Spanish manuscript. Spain, ca. 1556.
Paper. 8 ff. (340 x 211 mm.) 1 column, varying lines. Watermarks similar to
Briquet 13766, 13757, and 11250. Cursive script.
Comments: The list consists of names of judges, bishops, university authorities
and administrators all over Spain to whom certain memorials and instructions
were to be sent, probably at the time of the accession of Philip II to the
throne. The names of the individual messengers carrying these letters are
given together with the various districts where the letters were to be
delivered.
